There are many places of interest to songwriters. Below are a few sites we recommend. We will try and update this list throughout the year. I WRITE THE SONGS - Mary Dawsons home site for her radio shows and seminars. DOG STAR MUSIC Rick Ivanoff has a wonderful site loaded with information. INSPRIATIONS FOR SONGWRITERS - IFS Ande Rasmussen in Austin Texas puts out several e-mailings each week loaded with songwriter information. If you want to receive it, send an e-mail to: difs-subscribe@yahoogroups.com NASHCAMP Cindy Sinclair puts on these songwriting camps. There is also a bluegrass camp for those who are interested. These are first rate affairs, with some of the best in the industry as your coaches. If you want to expand your experience and get first hand help from the pros for a week, this is a must.

Ive worked with them for nearly ten years and you cant go wrong. THE MUSES MUSE This is an all encompassing site of resources, classified ads, chat rooms and more. Its a growing resource and is highly recommended. SELECTED SONGWRITER MESSAGE BOARDS - Interact with those who love the fun of songwriting. I have had several clients over the years who have worked with him and all have been very pleased. PITCH SHEETS: write and request a sample copy SONG DOMAIN - Jack Kavanagh is the publisher of this fine monthly magazine for songwriters. It includes news, columns and at least a two page pitch list every month. This is an excellent publication that has grown to almost 5000 subscribers in just two years. Chuck Chellman - PARADE OF STARS This is one of the original Nashville Pitch Lists. It comes out once a month and includes thirty-plus pitches. ROW FAX - Music Row Magazine The is the magazine about the Nashville Music Biz, and they offer a twice monthly pitch list that lets you know who is cutting and when in Nashville. You must subscribe for six months, but the information is priceless. They also offer a publication titled IN CHARGE that gives you everyone or is anyone in the Nashville Music Biz - updated yearly. SONGCASTING - The Pitch List Published monthly, you must subscribe for a year. There are listings in many fields of music. This publication has been around since the early 1980s. THE TENNESSEE SONGWRITERS ASSOCIATION http://www.clubnashville.com/tsai.htm This group offers a monthly publication which includes many pitching opportunities. If you live in the Nashville area they have nights for pitching to publishers and other events. THE NASHVILLE SONGWRITERS ASSOCIATION INTERNATIONAL ( N.S.A.I ) http://nashvillesongwriters.com This organization has for years provided information and help to the aspiring songwriter. There are chapters in just about every state. WILD OATS RECORDS http://www.wildoatsrecords.com A neat site to visit. Steve Haggard offers a lot of different services and independent production and promotion. THE SONGWRITERS GUILD This organization has many purposes. If you live in Los Angeles, Nashville or New York, they have monthly workshops and pitch sessions that are all first class. Well worth belonging to. Fun sites
